Grey knights painting sheme Revealed

 

So..That's the results of the painting..At a second view i find it very nice but i should have tried drybrushing land raiders rear.Enjoy it. The colour which  i used was a sprey of primer plate mail metal.A red core and ice blue ,,!I call the paintsheme Van Kong ...

Grey knight painting Sheme coming,,

I was just bored and i wanted to paint my many grey knights abd especially the vehicles like;Land Raider,Dreadnought,Rhino,Razorback and a Inquititional Chimera.The sheme turned to be a little more inspiriantial from that i wanted but i still like it.Hope you enjoy..(just wait another 2 days till i finish the razorback and the land raider He he he)

Imperial Guard Paint Technique

Hi guys,
today I am gonna show you how to paint an Imperial Guard gurdsman.
ARMOR: basecoat: catachan green
                wash: badab black
                highlight: 1:2 catachan green: camo green
CLOTH: basecoat: shadow grey
               wash: badab black
                highlight: drybrush with astronomican grey
METALS: basecoat: chainmail
                 wash: badab black or devlan mud (yours choice)
FLESH: basecoat: tallarn flesh
              wash: badab black
              highlight: elf flesh
DETAILS: details were painted with astronomican grey

The New Necrons

I said to start necrons as i am little bored of my Grey knights and finally i want a more chaotic army.I chosed,as a painting scheme,the Nekthyst Dynasty with Chaos Black and Drybrush.Simple drybrash made an excellent result.And finally i ll be proud of my well-painted army.Don't glue the Necron's 'power source'so you can spray them.Also the scarabs are very easy to glue as they are lighter from earlier version.

Let's have a look at one classic model painted from the Nekthyst dynasty.

I made a special model holding a Grey knights head,and also leaving from it's base.

 

But more prouf of anything else i am for the scarab base i made.

Thats all for know..I am coming with a squad of Lychguard and Immortials.

New necrons!!

The first battle of the tournament

At the start greyknights won the initiative and deployed first,The deployment was with series of rhinos.The necrons wanted to trie an attack information by getting Nightbringer,Wraiths,and Scarabs..At the second round Nightvringer destroyed a Rhino and a Greyknight killed a few Pariahias but the 3 of them came back from the special rule We will be back.At that turn missed a wound from a squad of terminators.The Warrior Accolytes made some hits at Nightbringer but he brought all save throws.At the assault face the Tomb Spider borned one Scarab base.At the third round Nightbringer   shot with the lighting arc power with no result at the Justicar Thawn terminator team.  With     the one of the two purgation Squad were holding the objective while al the other units were frenzy to kill.The 3 destroyers managed to kill another one from the Purgation Squad and the Parhias killed two of  the Purifier Squad.Then the librarian Squad landed near the Monolith and made a ambitous assault with hammers.The result was only a weapon destroyed and a crew stand.Then at the fourth round missed another three wound from terminators and Purifiers,finally the Nightbringer was the dawn and was removed from the battlefield.Two another pahrias where killed from a Purgation and and one one was standing on his feet.The strike squad fired at three wraiths and killed all of them but unfortunately one came back.Also the last round the Flayed one missed to take part in this Fight but a second 10 man warriors came at the battlefield to support the slowly falling army.A heavy destroyer tried to open a Rhino but at the roll to hit he made a roll of two.But the another killed one termiantor.At the Assault fave the Monolith was out of game from all weapon Destroyed and a immobilized.The Tomb spider shot with  The Librarian's Smite killed all three Destroyers and only one came back   At the last round the Flayed one missed to take part in this Fight but a second 10 man warriors came at the battlefield to support the slowly falling army.A heavy destroyer tried to open a Rhino but at the roll to hit he made a roll of two.But the another killed one termiantor.At the Assault fave the Monolith was out of game from all weapon Destroyed and a immobilized.The Tomb spider shot with  gaus blaster and killed four purifiers.Then at the last round  of John the Chimera shot and killed The last Pharia.Then it was a easy job for the purgation Squad to kill the last destroyer.Then the termiantor squad shot at the warrior squad that was holding the  objective and killed two and then assaulted and killed the entire squad.the one objective was held by the strike squad and the another was contest by terminators so the score ended with a 1-0 both players enjoyed the battle.

Coming with the rain..

At the start of September (8-9) we will do a mini tournament with  about 9 battle reports with lot's of photos(caught by my new professional  Minolita camera).The tournament will be done by the Dark Emperor Team and the starring armies will be 4:Grey knights by John,Dark Eldar by the Mighty Themo,Necrons by the Deathbringer Antony and last but not least Chaos marines lead by the Chaotic Paulos and the Nurgle God of War Kimon!The tournament will take place at the Fantasy Shop Kiffisias at about 11:00-11:15 of 8th September ,and will continue and the 9th of Sempteber at ?(who knows when).Feel free to come and see us!

Paint technique for D.E. KabaliteWarriors

Hi guys !I  like  seeing that more and more players bring their armys fully painted. So I decided to find one guide that explain us how to paint dark eldar kabalite warriors  So here is it !




Step One - prime black.
Step Two - light drybrush of Hawk Turquoise. Make sure this is a light drybrush with a big brush (I used a Tank Brush), and just catch the sharp, raised edges.
Step Three - lighter drybrush of a Hawk Turquoise/Skull White mix (roughly 50/50). This should be lighter than the last drybrush.
Step Four - hit the highest highlights with a Hawk Turquoise/Skull White mix (roughly 25/75). Make sure these lines are very thin.
Step Five - wash the armor with Thraka Green. This will help blend your highlights and drybrushing. If you were over zealous with your drybrushing, then hit the armor with a few more layers of Thraka Green.

Flayed Skin
Step One - Paint the flayed skin with Tallarn Flesh.
Step Two - was with Ogryn Flesh.
Step Three - highlight with Dheneb Stone.

Gold
Step One - paint the gold parts with a mix of Scorched Brown/Shining Gold (roughly 50/50).
Step Two - highlight with Shining Gold.
Step Three - highlight with a 50/50 mix of Shining Gold/Mithril Silver.

Eyes
- paint the eyes and surounding edges with a 75/25 mix of Snot Green/Chaos Black.
- highlight eyes and edges with Snot Green.
- highlight eyes and edges with a 40/60 mix of Snot Green/Sunburst Yellow.
- highlight eyes with Sunburst Yellow.
- wash area with Thraka Green.

Metal
- paint the metal with a 50/50 mix of Chaos Black/Boltgun Metal.
- highlight with Boltgun Metal.
- highlight with Mithril Silver

Black
- touch up all the black areas with Chaos Black.
- highlight with a 50/50 mix of Chaos Black/Dark Grey*.
- highlight with Dark Grey*.

* Dark Grey is from the Vallejo Model Color range.

Grey knights tactics by John

It's time to see more about the newest army of  warhammer 40.000.I usally prefer to take Mordrak with his friends (5 or 3 Ghost Knights with 3 halberd and 2 Hammers or just 3 halberd)and a grand master for one of my favorites special rules grand strategy.Let's speak about Mordrak,very good special rules good statistics but not ELTERNAL WARRIOR!!!! Don't forget that when he does first to fray he can't assault because it's a move key better let him hide and attack at the propert time.Then it's easy to kill...But never give him invulnerable save throws he instaly die and then ghost knight loose their special rule Stealth.For the Grand Master i choose him because i can easily make a purgation squad scoring unit :P!So i 'll give you a 1750 points list that i have won 3/3 times..
